Cleaning Checklist

Every home is different, so there’s no singular checklist that will incorporate all situations.

The below will be cleaned, scrubbed, sanitized/disinfected, and polished as appropriate. 

Bathroom 

• Grouting 
• Tile walls, bathtubs, and showers 
• Vanity and sink 
• Toilets 
• Shower door 
• Floors
• Doors and frames
• Mirrors and chrome fixtures 
• Baseboards 

(Move Out Only)

• Cabinets inside/out

Kitchen and Dining 

• Inside of range hood 
• Grease filter 
• Drip pans 
• Countertops 
• Sinks and chrome 
• Baseboards 
• Kitchen furniture 
• Doors and frames
• Dishes: Rinse + load dishwasher for ONE load full of dishes

(Deep Clean and Move Out Only)

• Microwave inside/out
• Stove inside/out
• Oven inside/out
  

(Move Out Only)

• Cabinets inside/out
• Refrigerator inside/out

Living Rooms / Bedrooms / Closets / Etc. 

• Doors and frames 
• Baseboards

• Make beds for each bedroom

Misc:

Ceilings, fans, light fixtures: (within reach of a two-step ladder) cobwebs removed, light dusting as needed.

Floors: cleaning, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and shine. Carpets will be vacuumed.

Walls: Spot wipe for infrequent, light marks, but heavy cleaning and dusting is by request only. 

Trash: Trash will be removed from the home and put away into the appropriate trash can outdoors. 

Laundry: Load washer + dryer for ONE load of laundry (upon request).

(Deep Clean and Move Out Only)

Windows: (within reach of a two-step ladder) glass, sills, and ledges wiped down on the interior. Blinds wiped down if needed.

Add-on service required (Please let us know if you’d like this service): 

• Pro window cleaning: This is for large windows that cannot be reached with a two-step ladder, and for windows that require exterior cleaning. 
• Deep carpet cleaning: For stains, odors, and other things that require special attention and care.
• Upholstery cleaning: For any upholstery that requires cleaning.
• Deep wall cleaning: For heavy marks, scuffs, debris, dirt, stains, etc on the walls.
• Unfinished areas: garage, balcony, patio, etc. These will be wiped down and cleaned, but heavy cleaning (such as power washing) will require an add-on service. 

Prior our appointment, please be sure to take the following steps: 

• Personal Belongings: Please remove all expensive, fragile, and irreplaceable items. For move out cleans, please remove ALL personal belongings.
• Heavy items/clutter: Please keep as tidy as possible. Small items are okay, but please understand that organizing and cleaning are two separate jobs!
• Appliances: Please keep as tidy as possible. For move out cleans, please empty all appliances completely. 
• Surfaces, cabinets, and countertops: Please keep as tidy as possible. For move out cleans, please remove everything. 
• Pets/Kids/Guests: Please ensure that they are not in the same rooms while cleaning is going on. 
• Access: Please make sure that gate codes, alarms, etc. are set appropriately.
